The ASSA 700 is one of the most iconic high-security locks, with seven chambers loaded with security pins, and the cutaway puts all seven on display. Jordan settled on a robust design that cycles normally with the key.

This piece is not recommended for picking. Because of the nature of the pins in this lock, false sets can tempt the pins to squeeze out of the cuts. It is intended for display, mechanical study, and key cycling. As with any cutaway lock, gentle use is recommended to preserve the lock and maintain proper operation.

Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work. His cutaways are made to remain functional, clearly expose the internal mechanics, and hold up to real hands-on use.

All Chop Shop Customs are non refundable.

https://covertinstruments.com/products/assa-700-cutaway-in-assa-ruko-2-padlock-body-by-jordan-the-locksmith
