Domestic Shipping Questions

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR AUTOFILL ERRORS WITH PAYMENT PROCESSORS.

This happens routinely every Friday and causes our customers a great deal of frustration. What happens is items are scanned as delivered when they are loaded on the mail truck Fridays. Then something happens during the course of the day, usually a mechanical issue with the truck, and the item sits all weekend and is only delivered on the next business day(Monday).

Also, while we ship items out promptly the same cannot always be said about the various parcel carriers. We cannot and do not guarantee arrival dates and shipping times.

If our fulfillment team has not begun to process your order, you can cancel and receive a refund. To do this email our team at sales@covertinstruments.com and request a refund. If you are requesting an additional item to be added we will cancel and refund your order so that you can place the order again. We cannot simply add items because we deliberately do not record payment information. It is all handled through a 3rd party shopping platform.

All shipped orders and returns are subject to a 20% restock fee.

If the order is already en route you can still request a refund. Follow the same process and we will issue a return label. Then simply mail the parcel back to us. Once received we will process the return minus the restocking fee.

Any replacement orders are shipped out first class.

ONCE A PARCEL IS ACCEPTED INTO A DESTINATION COUNTRY WE OFTEN LOSE THE ABILITY TO TRACK IN REAL TIME AND CANNOT CONTACT INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS.

Yes, to varying degrees. Regular parcels traveling abroad are still taking up to 8 weeks to arrive. We cannot even begin an investigation on a late package until then.

Germany has suspended in person courier services. If your item is marked as delivered and you do not see it, then it is probably at a pickup center. To get the address take your order number and track it via our page. You will be shown the pickup address.

Before Covid 19 we were able to quickly and reliably serve nearly 100 countries. The unfortunate reality is that supply chains and logistics have been decimated. The list of countries we can ship to has been pruned significantly. We hope to resume commerce with more countries as shipping conditions become more favorable.

Unfortunately we have no control over how long an order takes to arrive. At this time no carrier is guaranteeing delivery times on any parcel. The estimates they provide are a guide at best. Orders placed after hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday are processed Monday AM. This includes expedited orders.

International orders are more complex. We can take a return on an international item, however we do not pay for return shipping or reimburse any taxes or duties. The 20% restocking fee still applies.
